The Story
Cover the white with tiny pieces of torn tape. Paint. Cover the next lightest the same way. Paint. And so on until the whole piece is covered with tape, except the very darkest. Paint, not knowing what in the world it really look like under all that tape.
Take all the tape off and see the it complete.
I am in the process of painting new versions of this piece I love so much.
Paint ’til it sings!
How many layers of “tape” covers our life ’til at some point we are willing to start peeling it off and see what is under it all?
